Boy toys v. girl toys

I have always felt this a landslide victory for boys. There exists some major exceptions, though.

Nothing like the important stuff.

Mom is going crazy over the pasta sauce my Dad just bought at the store. Everything is as it should be at Christmas.

New Year's 2011

I've used Tumblr all year. Coming back here to Blogger, though, I like many of the changes. Some of the new templates are simple and nice. I still wish the act of posting was simpler.

Anyway, as usual I have a New Year's resolution. For 2011 I want to learn Spanish. I'm going to take a crack with Rosetta Stone. I hope I can stick to it!

New Year's Resolutions First Check In

Things are going well. I have made no progress on my own writing or deciphering Kant and Hegel, but I am eating a lot better. I've taken aim at portion sizes, haven't had an entire soda, and can count the number of beers I've had on one hand. I feel very good already, and these are just baby steps.
